A very happy Christmas to you from all at Sheffield Cathedral.
We hope you are enjoying time with loved ones, the blessing of gifts and the odd mince pie! We have so much to be thankful this year, as the gallery of images from Facebook and Twitter below demonstrate. It is easy to forget all that has happened!
A Moment To Reflect
As 2016 draws to a close, take a few moments to look back over your own year. Perhaps you have images on your phone you can browse to help jog your memory. Or perhaps you keep a journal you can flick through.
Highs and lows, challenges and times of joy, reflect on the moments that have shaped your year, give thanks, seek God for healing, and invite Christ into the year ahead.
He is ready to journey with us.
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
